    I went a little mad and dove into the IC GUIs. It turns out they are very easy to make. I will be completing the rest of these today or tomorrow.

    They're looking amazing Shoe! Not looking forward to doing the gui's I must admit. Did they take long to do?

    A few hours. I will be going through them again and making some major edits before moving on to the other GUIs. I'm glad I saved the .xcf files for them.

    Very nice progress in here!
    Suggestions and criticism:

    + cleaning it
    + very nice ORES
    + your new Rubbertree textures (still need sapling)
    + reinforced glass
    0 tin, copper, bronze block (don't know...)
    - Reinforced Stone (i would like to have a complete "brown-golden" block)
    - Colored Construction Foam Wall (they really need sth. like an edge, otherwise a wall would look like ONE big block!)

    + all cables (they are awesome!!!)
    - we need to add the 3.rd line from the bottom
    This one is necessary for cables in ConstructionFoamWalls!

    they are nice, really!
    But I still prefer my creation with all the "lines", i'm using those textures since IC1...
    Your textures are smoother with less details, but i already accustomed my version.
    Maybe we should just add both versions to the customizer...or make a survey!

    + ON / OFF status
    + nuclear generator / geothermal generator
    + SolarArray (but i still think that the top is a bit too dark...)
    The generator with the flash is a very nice idea but maybe it would be better to change the position of it. In my opinion the flash lying on the side looks weird.
    Maybe we sould add a "prop" on the the opposite side of the wind- and watermill?
    I mean theoretically the source goes through...

    Difficult one...your textures are nice, no question!
    But i think same problem like with the block_electric i alreay accustomed mith the other textures (the one you got with my files, with the iron machine block as base...)
    Maybe we should just add both versions to the customizer...or make a survey!

    Nice One, but i think that the top is a bit to dark again...

    So, this is my feedback!
    By the way, the block_cable.png has one little missing...the third line from the bottom has to be colored ConstructionFoam.
    The missing line is for cables covered with ConstructionFoam.
    (Already mentioned above in the Spoiler!)

    We really need to find a compromise with the ConstructionFoam Textures and the Tin, Copper, Bronze Blocks...or what do you think? Neoboy we need your opinion!

    @Shoe: I just realized that you are using a very old Version of the GUI as base!
    The boxes for the items aren't the same like the output box!

    If you wish I can continue and complete the GUIs!

    Ok, dude, those GUIs are all yours! Coolaid gave some feedback on them that I think you should take into consideration going forward.

    WTF?!? Would be hard for me as a GIMP beginner to realize all of that...furthermore i thought that this GUI could also become the GUI for mods like Crossover and BC as well as Redpower -> maybe all tech. Mods!

    In my opinion we should stay with the metal version and improve that one! It's more compatible...

    Ok! Try making the slots/inventory out of the faux stone. I can do that if you would rather not.

    Faux stone? I really want to make them, but you know how my first GUI looked like...
    Adding all GUIs with the current base (Metalblock), wouldn't be a problem at all!

    Ok, but try recoloring the GUIs that correspond with blue machines blue. I can do that after you've completed everything else.

    That is what i thought to but the 3rd row from the bottom is for coloring foam i just cant figure out what the very last row is for.

    Here they are, new and improved versions of the IC2 GUIs!
    A blue one for all blue machines and a silver one.

    I already looked at your new textures in game, particularly at the new textures for CF-Walls.
    They're nearly awesome, in my opinion the frame could be a bit smaller (half frame thickness?)...
    Was it your intention to have stronger colors? Because they're stronger than the "vanilla" textures of wool?

    I really like the surface of the new CF-Wall!

    I will make some more changes like the foam trim thickness and the color of the foam. I was just in a hurry when i created the original colored foam textures so i tried to get the colors as close as i could that i could reminder.
