Biomes O' Plenty

    Not that bad of a start but the blueish wood wit yellow dots really needs to get fixed(and the bamboo leaves that you pointed out). It stands out to much and the dots are none matching/blending with the rest of the object. While I do like the bamboo I might need a little work. Try less realistic and thinner?

    Looks like I will be joining in on this one- just started using this mod, and love it... other than the neon purple aspects. ;-) Not giving up my favorite texture pack either, so... better chip in and help with the textures. :)

    They have added textures since the last time the patch was updated- more files and more images on the block.png. The lack of the block.png entries means that those items show up as neon purple in game- not so good. :-J I added the mod's textures in the missing spots, and made a zip that I think has the right structure to be added to the texture pack. (I just put the new files where the old one was, structure is still the same that far.)

    No new textures, just an update with what's in the mod. Working on some other bits today. :)

    Hm... the items.png in the zip seems to overwrite some of the default Soartex textures. I am getting low-rez tools now. Poking at it.

    My impression is that I will need to figure out a way to overlay the Soartex textures in the file? What is usually done if a mod provides new textures for existing stuff?

    When a mod adds new textures I only add the new ones to the sprite sheets we have and don't add any sprite sheets that we haven't edited. The mobs in the mobs folder, for example, don't need to be in it. Really, the easiest way is just posting the sprite sheets you have edited.

    Seems that with the 1.5.1 update the image folder for that mod has changed a bit.
    Now every Item/Block/Armor etc has its own png.

    Won't that be true for pretty much everything? I thought that was a 1.5.1 core change.

    hmm dumb question towards the mod-texture-unstitcher:

    [SlotX].[SlotY] which one represents the Row from the original Spritesheet?

    Ok I think i've figured out by myself.

    Awesome, added to the config repo. I think I'll use the unstitcher to port what we have so far in the config repo.

    Great that its useful :)
    Btw: I've compared ExtraBiomesXL with BiomesOPlenty.
    Several Blocks (ex. Hydrangea and some Plants) are already textured for Soartex fanver in EXBL.
    Why don't use these textures also for BoP?
    It seems thats in some cases the identical item. And who would invent the wheel twice? :)

    Seems that they renamed some textures in their new release 0.5.2.
    So the configfiles only work for the 0.5.1 version. :(

    The config files and the main texture branch for 1.5 works with the latest Biomes_O_Plenty my pull requests were accepted fixing the file names :)

    Hello! I'm trying to download this texture for the mod biomes O 'PLENTY but is not available for any site. My current minecraft version is 1.5.2 and I would like to have this texture for my series on my youtube channel.

    I know, I use Paint.net and love it. I mean moreso how to edit texture and see them live update in minecraft without changing the vanilla launcher or my main instances.

    The red rock cobble texture has a slight 1 pixel wide issue on its right side. Seems like it isn't squared up exactly with where the texture should go on the png. This is the 1.5.2 version I'm looking at.
